Here are the basics:
The new system will be live November 1—it’s called Lightspeed and is powered by Chronogolf. It’s unfortunate that the name Chronogolf is part of the system as residents think it’s just for golfers. Just think of it as a house account that can be used nearly everywhere on the property (Solaz, The Shallow Well, The Spa), and also at the golf course, the golf beverage cart, and V’s Taproom (excluding take-out orders). Chronogolf is the name of the technology being used to manage resident information and billing.
There will be one house account per lot that will be good to use at all outlets. House account billing is optional and you can opt in simply by providing a credit card. All residents will have only one account, and one statement and invoice. The credit card applied to your new house account will work for all Club amenities and activities administered by the Club through MTL.
All residents currently have a profile with the Club that is housed in our old system (EzSuite). Once we go live, that system will be replaced with Lightspeed (powered by Chronogolf). Lightspeed provides a suite of tools to manage resident profiles in golf, retail, food & beverage, spa, and the rest of the amenities that are offered in our community. All residents have been entered into this new system and should have recieved an invitation from Chronogolf to activate their profile and add a credit card to their account. This is the only action needed from each resident in the community.
All residents of Trilogy have always had an account profile associated with their lot number through EzSuties, so the transition to Lightspeed will not result in any significant changes on the resident side. It is a big change on the operations side. Essentially, we are changing the system in which all of our pertinent resident information is stored. Residents are not required to have a credit card on file nor is the use of their house account mandatory.
We understand you may be thinking, “Is my data safe? The security protocols that Lightspeed uses are state-of-the-art. So, just as we have always done, when a resident purchases their home, their information is entered into MTL which serves to connect them with their new community and resort. The tools we employ to serve you, like Lightspeed and MTL, validate membership and residency, email preferences, emergency contact information, control your access into Club-specific systems, and more. These tools are essential and have been in use for the life of the Club.
Even if you don’t want a house account, everyone must, at the very least, activate their account. It is optional to add a credit card, but you will not be able to charge throughout the Club without adding a credit card.
