Our HOA Committees are made up of homeowners who volunteer to assist the HOA board in managing different aspects of the community. Board members don’t have enough time to take care of every aspect of the community, so they delegate some of the tasks and responsibilities to committees. HOA Committees utilize the many skills, talents and expertise of homeowners. Committees run under the board’s authority and make recommendations to the Board, who has the final approval.
We have two types of committees:
Finance: EmilyMay Richards
tavfinancecommittee@gmail.com - supports the financial health of the Community Association by overseeing its finances and advising the Board of Directors. It helps with financial management, planning, and control, ensuring the proper administration of member funds. While the Committee provides guidance, its recommendations are not binding, and it does not have the authority to spend funds or direct the Board or contractors.
Architectural Review (ARC): Jennifer Thomasson JThomasson@aamaz.com - maintains harmony between new improvements and the surrounding environment. Before any visible changes can be made, review and approval from the ARC is required. They also establish and update architectural rules for all such improvements within the community.
Landscape; Doug Daoust
trilogylandscapecommittee@gmail.com - manages the community's tangible assets, including landscaping, infrastructure, buildings, and other structures that all residents enjoy. Includes monitoring water and utility usage, responding to resident concerns, and maintaining infrastructure like irrigation systems, ponds, streams, sidewalks, streetlights, gates, and walls. Safety issues such as road visibility and speeding are also addressed. The committee works closely with the Community Association Director and Landscape Superintendent to ensure the community remains safe, beautiful, and well-maintained for current and future residents.
Capital Improvement (CIC), Lance Tucker
Trilogycic@gmail.com - researches and develops projects that enhance the community's common areas using Capital Improvement Funds. Working with other committees, the CIC aims to improve the physical amenities on campus. The committee's mission includes creating short-term project options and supporting the Board in developing a 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan. The CIC gathers input through various methods, such as surveys or focus groups, to respond to the community's needs.
Outdoor Sports (ad hoc) - includes the president and vice president from each sports club, four representatives from the Capital Improvement Committee (CIC), and a non-voting liaison from BlueStar. Their mission is to create a 5-year master plan specific to outdoor sports in the community, focusing on Bocce, Corn Hole, Pickleball, and Tennis. The committee's work is for a defined period (i.e., 18 months).
Trilogy Liaison, Kim Stuhr
trilogyliaison@gmail.com - establishes and maintains relationships with key representatives from the City of Peoria, Maricopa County, State of Arizona and other organizations to relay information that affects Trilogy at Vistancia residents. Functions as an intermediary, sharing information between government officials and residents while remaining neutral and not advocating for specific issues.
Trilogy Golf Course and Restaurant, Steve Spiva
tavgcrcommittee@gmail.com - works together with BlueStar to review operational matters and recommend best practices to ensure enjoyable experiences at both locations.
Peer Review, Jennifer Thomasson
jthomasson@aamaz.com - serves (when needed) as a fair, impartial and objective group of Class A Members who review allegations and makes disciplinary recommendations to the Board of Directors. (Typically done if a member requests a hearing or challenges a violation identified in a notification letter, particularly regarding the Code of Conduct and other non-typical violations.)
